Phone over heating?
 

My phone seem to over heat...When ever I'm using the WMWIFI program and my phone is about to die I plug in into the charger and it only charges for about 5 mins then the light starts to blink and it just shuts off and only charges for like 5 mins. I also tried just talking on the phone after that and I had to same problem. Also I tried using the usb cable and just using the 777 method. I still had the same problem. But it has no problem charging just turn on and not doing anything. This never happens untill i'm using my phone as a modem then I have the problem for a while untill after my phone seems to cool down. Is it possible the phone is over heating and can't handle all of the power?

Based on those symptoms, it sounds exactly like you phone is overheating. the red led is always a bad sign. Take her in... but DO NOT mention wmwifirouter. :)

I don't get it bc it's fine when I talk on the phone plug in any other time. I just got my freakin phone set up the way i want it (for a week anyways). But I guess i'll just turn to sprite back up. lol

dont take it in. every titan will overheat when plugged in and using wmwifirouter. i know mine does. but if use wmwifirouter while its plugged in take off the battery cover and try to get it as much ventilation as possible, it will take alot longer to overheat.

I'll try that starting out next time. I tried that after it was having that problem and it didn't seem to help.

this is why only a few phones have wifi. also li-ion batteries have overheat protection, b/c charging hot batteries is never a good plan.
one of my moguls sits on the dash running navizon (gps+wifi), and I have learned to keep it plugged in at all times, this way my battery usually hovers around 3/4, plenty to swap into my other "main" mogul when it's battery gets close to dead.

*edit* I need a new plan, now that summer's almost here, don't think the dash will be the best idea.
