Re: Cricket Complete MMS/WAP Settings (change file send/rec size limit included)

Hey guys so i have done everything on here and my 6800 still wont get into Internet or receive or send mms. every time i go to use the Internet a message pops up say cannot connect so i am guessing it has to do something with my password because i have to put it in every time but it will still not accept it so it leaves it blank

Re: Cricket Complete MMS/WAP Settings (change file send/rec size limit included)

I've had my touch working for some time. The only issue I have is with MMS and GPS locking using Google Maps. GPS locks only some times...

For a Touch take a look at this thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=94338. The GPS setting will work for Titans and any HTC PPC on cricket. And what are your MMS issues.

Re: Cricket Complete MMS/WAP Settings (change file send/rec size limit included)

I just used proxycap to set up my wap proxy for web, and bypass the proxy for MMS.
so far it appears to have solved my MMS after internet explorer problems.
note that arcsoft MMS uses Transport.exe for its send/receive functions.
just setup a rule for html using the proxy (without password), and another rule for MMS excluding Transport.exe from using the proxy.
than remove wap.mycricket.com from your connection settings and uncheck this connection uses a proxy.

u will get that if your proticol is incorrect (mip mode) (use slip)
or if they were rong at some point after entering the correct username and password in PST settings.
try changing your PW in PST, reboot, than change it back and reboot.

If your username and password in PST revert back to the original carrier you may need to reflash from the start with a non GPS shipped ROM and work your way forward from there.

Re: Cricket Complete MMS/WAP Settings (change file send/rec size limit included)

I found a better solution for the connections string prob.
IE sets a proxy detected string, that overrides the connection setting proxy.
delete the connections key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\Connections
and change the value of
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings
EnableNegotiate to 0
IE sets up a static proxy, but cricket uses a dynamic prox
setting the value EnableNegotiate to 0 tells IE to use your proxy setup instead of making its own

Re: Cricket Complete MMS/WAP Settings (change file send/rec size limit included)

I was mistaken in my last post.
at some point my IE started writing the reg again.
so I started digging.
the connections string is a quick reference of the HKLM HTTP proxy settings.
there is a place to put overrides in the setting, that are than added to the connections string.
I added mms.mycricket.com:8080 to the overide and so far its working
