wow been busy didnt realize people were posting. I will try to answer all the questions. I dont have a 6700 or a 6900 so I dont know if the settings work, and I also have Vetvitos ROM on my phone What roms are you guys running? They may not have all of the software to make MMS work properly

The settings work for 6700.

I started out with the PRL 1050 but when hooked up with Cricket and did *228 changed to 1012 (for the guy who asked if PRL was correct.....try standard 1050 do *228 and let cricket program your prl)

When you see the password is longer dont panic ....just cricket making it like that...password is still cricket(you will have to trust me on this until I find the thread to send link about this) 3Quad jus told me I am right bout this one but doesnt remember the thread either lol.

This will take care of the stupid sms sent sms recieved prob...grrrr I so hate that dang thing! (Thanks 3Quad for finding this for me again!)

You can still use these browsers without writing the Connections Value. If you don’t want to use anything but Explorer, you are going to have to go into this registry file and delete the Connections string every time to send MMS or until someone comes up with a registry hack to Auto delete this value every time you close IE …Close Regedit.

I tried to delete the Internet Settings string, but I get an "Access Denied" error. I just bought the phone... I can call anc receive texts, but not send texts or receive calls...
What is the deal with the denied access?
Can I uninstall IE on WM? Possible?

I followed these steps to the t and still no mms it just keeps trying to connect to #777 then i get error code 67 username/password not right any help?

i had mms working but i hade to go to default connections each time to get them after i shut down the net..
now i messed with the phone and had to do a soft reset.
so now i lost totalally the mms
what did i delete?
also can i just install a cab for mms to work correctly?
i have no idea what version or how to find out arcsoft i have?......

I got my mogul to send pics through e-mail, no luck over text =( anyone there with a fix for this? By the way the post for this is http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=25859.

Yes we should also give them credit including random for charging people for usb cables when they are not even needed. Also lets give credit to toog for charging 5 dollars for a rom that is a buggy POS.

Stay away from the cricket section of howard forums. Nothing more then people who steel others work and then charge for it. With the exception of random who gives false info so people will buy his usb cables.

okay i've done all the steps i could do...except one weird thing, the 'EnableServerEdit' string is nowhere to be found in my registry. Can I ask what version of arcsoft is it that you guys are using? Or am I missing something completely?

*by the way I have a sprint htc mogul.

Every time i got into my mms settings and get into change server, i see the options are right, although when i hit DONE it resets to 1.2. So what i did i go back to the registry HKLM\Software\Arcsoft\Arcsoft MMS UA\Config\MM1\MMSCSetting\Cricket MMS WAPT TYPE 1 made the change and Don't touch anything else. VOILA! I have MMS! thanks a bunch!!!



SUCCESFULLY FLASHED PPC 6800 SPRINT TO CRICKET!
