If your username and password in PST revert back to the original carrier you may need to reflash from the start with a non GPS shipped ROM and work your way forward from there.

Re: Cricket Complete MMS/WAP Settings (change file send/rec size limit included)

I found a better solution for the connections string prob.
IE sets a proxy detected string, that overrides the connection setting proxy.
delete the connections key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\Connections
and change the value of
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings
EnableNegotiate to 0
IE sets up a static proxy, but cricket uses a dynamic prox
setting the value EnableNegotiate to 0 tells IE to use your proxy setup instead of making its own

Re: Cricket Complete MMS/WAP Settings (change file send/rec size limit included)

I was mistaken in my last post.
at some point my IE started writing the reg again.
so I started digging.
the connections string is a quick reference of the HKLM HTTP proxy settings.
there is a place to put overrides in the setting, that are than added to the connections string.
I added mms.mycricket.com:8080 to the overide and so far its working

Re: Cricket Complete MMS/WAP Settings (change file send/rec size limit included)

Okay, I've used Whity10tc's and Ryanmogul6800's info and guidance in the past to successfully flash a few HTC 6900's(and a barely working razr during a broken phone emergency) to Cricket with mms and internet. I recently tried to do the same with another 6900 from Sprint with no success on the mms. I also tried to reflash one that I had done before after flashing an android rom. Both are ok on the internet but even with the same mms and wap fix .cab I used before, I can't send or receive mms. I believe that I'm using all the same stuff from the previous flashes, Whiteys instructions, NFSF's 6.5 ROM, Ryans arcsoft mms and wap fix, the cricket pst settings from Ryan's post. Incidentally, when I'm in the modem info tab, I see two lines that I never saw previously, "HDR Mobile Receive Diversity enable/disable " and "CDMA Mobile Receive Diversity enable/disable". I've tried enable and disable but it doesn't seem to have any effect. I don't know what they are though. I'm not even close to a guru, I just follow instructions very well! When I try to send a pic message, I get a notification that it was unable to send and is being stored in the outbox. I get a similiar notification when I receive a pic, that it was unable to recieve, not being stored in the outbox! Called Cricket to refresh(which normally worked if I had problems) and still no luck. My son and daughter-in-law now have phones that won't send mms and I feel like junk, please, am I just stressing and overlooking and missing something dumb? I've read and reread everything and still not getting anywhere.

Glad to see you got it resolved, but maybe explaining what you did will help a future user in need.

Re: Cricket Complete MMS/WAP Settings (change file send/rec size limit included)

Hi There...

Ok, So, I have an HTC Mogul...

I love this phone, had it for 3 years, and dig the crap out of it...

However..... I recently had it flashed to Cricket, and I got issues with the text/mms/sms areas...

I can get a text fine from anyone who sends me one.
I can NOT get a picture from anyone who sends me one. I get a text message from Cricket telling me I have a new multi-media message at blah.blah and my id is blah. My phone won't go there at all, and if I go from my computer, it tells me there was a 'General Error' Highly helpful, to be sure...
I can NOT send any form of text/sms/mms message whatsoever at all...

Big Sigh

I've followed these instructions to the letter, except that

1) HKLM /software/arcsoft mms ua/config/UI
find EnableServerEdit and change it from 0 to 1

and

2) HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings Where it says Connections

Neither of these exist in my registry at all...

Before I did ANY of this, I got the following error info every time I tried to send a text of any type:

Error Type: Temporary
Error cause: SMS Org.D

I still get the exact same thing now...

I have also tried having Cricket refresh my account, that did no good either...

Anyone got any more info on this?

Big, Big THANX!
