This happened yesterday, and I guess I fixed by luck but cannot do the same today.
I've been using the leacked GPS rom that came out several weeks before the first official GPS one. Anyways my phone locks up, I do a soft-reset, and it gets stuck at the Tri-color screen and reads: TITA100 SPL-2.06.0000 CPLD-9 Serial If I reset it long enough sometimes it will go to the grey loading screen... then it says an image cant be found. I'm stuck is this a hardware issue?

I thought the rainbow screen is where you need to be to load a new rom. Have you tried loading a new rom? yeah, it will replace everything. but then you would have a phone.

Why dont you just flash the official Sprint ROM? Problem solved...
