Re: NEW RECORD!!!! 4 phones 3 weeks
I went through two Apache's, not quite the same circumstances though. I had a Mogul too, but willingly decided to change. I agree you should try Vogue. It's just my opinion, but it's easier to use than the clunky Mogul/Apache. Good luck to you.

Re: NEW RECORD!!!! 4 phones 3 weeks
If you use the keyboard a lot like I do, I wouldn't even consider the Vogue. I had one for a few months before I sold it to a friend... its just too hard to type on that thing. I always have to look at the screen to see what I'm typing since there is no tactile feedback, XT9 sucked, and I used a number of onscreen keyboards including TouchPal and SPB Full Screen. The Full Screen was the only keyboard I could stand.
But I feel your pain on the Apache... my original 6700 died on me after 10 months of being totally solid, took it to a Sprint store, they ordered me a replacement. That one kicked the bucket in less than 2 days (wouldn't read the memory card anymore) and I got another. That one froze the second I turned it on and nothing I could do would get it past the main boot logo. Called Asurion, they sent me one final refurb and that one the phone's radio was shot. Called them back and got my 6800. That was like September or so... now I just got a refurb 6800 yesterday and the screen has massive backlight bleed and ripples in it so they ordered me a brand new 6800 that should be here on Thursday or Friday. Seriously... if you're going to refurb a phone, actually FIX it! Stupid HTC...

Re: NEW RECORD!!!! 4 phones 3 weeks
I needed a new ppc-6800 on the 3rd day I had the phone. I was having major problems and the phone just seemed like a lemon.

Re: NEW RECORD!!!! 4 phones 3 weeks
I'm actually on my second Apache. Got it on ebay last year and replaced my slightly broken one (volume slider broke) I saveed the old one for parts and was glad I did when I dropped it and broke the screen. Replaced the broken screen and swapped out the blue backlight for the old ones white backlight one (much easier to read the alt charachters in the dark) Now I've pretty much decided that I'm going to the Touch now that there's a kitchen.
