i like the idea, but what about not using the today screen at all?

i'm thinking of something like s2u2 but with plugins.

turn on your phone, it is still locked but it shows the time or whatever plugin you want as the default. you set it to either fade to the next plugin after n seconds, or press up/down to manually change plugins (since right unlocks the phone if you have the dpad set to "on"). add as few or as many as you want. all screens will still have the feature to unlock at the bottom.

My initial idea on this was to just have a single linked webpage item.
That was just to start the next pieces to put it all together.
Once I discovered UL, it seemed to fit nicely as what should be a relatively easy method to switch out the webpages. UL already allows for all other plugins, so that became a moot point.

Also, if UL can be tapped into for autorotation, then it's just a matter of setting it up with functions similar to s2u2, therefore doing away with s2u2.

Then again, this is just my ideal - others may vary - and in the end it's whatever that is most feasible to program.
