Embarrassing SMS's being resent after restore?

So i upgraded to the new sprint rom, then went to update my contacts, call logs, and text's (PIM backup ithink). Well after the update was done i start getting tons up message sent notifications, then my phone goes to a crawl (I'm guessing from the massive amounts of texts being sent).

Well this wouldn't have been to bad if i hadn't had a ton of text that i would rather not have been sent again like way old arguments with friends/past friends/GF, and other things that would just make people say "WTF, why is he sending me this".

Anyone ever have this happen?

yea kind of makes me afraid to restore text again, not that i really need them though....

Have you been told that old messages were sent? As I understand it that sluggishness is just from the texts being aggregated back into the threads. The only time I've heard of PIMbackup resending texts on 6.1 is if they were in drafts folder.

every time i restore text it goes smoothly. i never have any in outbox or draft folder though. maybe that's the problem?

it happened to me, i dont remember if i had anything in drafts before i backed up though. my ol lady did ask some questions though about who the f i was trying to text haha.

I just had it happen to me a few days ago. I was like WTH!! sometimes when im in a low signal area they go to drafts, then when I get back into a good signal area they send, sometimes its at the wrong times.
