Phone stuck at Screenlock Password...
OK, my coworker has a mogul and she got it replaced today with a refurb unit. She asked me to help her reload her settings and apps etc. so we went thru together and restored her backups (using spb backup) and contacts (using pimbackup)....
now for the tricky part: after the restore we realized her old unit had a screenlock password that was set. After restoring her backups on the refurb, the same screenlock password window came up, but the original password she set up will not work! Is there any other course of action we can take before hard resetting and basically losing all her data with the exception of what pimbackup can salvage? is there a 'default' code that works when no password has been set on a new device? we tried the last 4 digits of her phone number with no luck... any help would be appreciated I really would hate to see her lose her stuff (she got her mogul on the strength of my recommendation) |
Re: Phone stuck at Screenlock Password...
There's no default passcode. Either the back up is messing stuff up and didnt bring the lock code over correctly, or she isnt entering the right code.
