Re: What's the best GPS application 4 my Mogul???

nav4all seems like a -real- resource hog. and i hate that it won't let you see a map when you're moving.
Until googlemaps utilizes the hard keys for pan and zoom, i prefer MS Live Search. again, Live Search seems to have made a recent update, even tho it doesn't say "new client available," try getting the installer online and reinstalling it. I notice the traffic seems to cover a much wider area now, and the map seems to zoom a little better.
but the turn by turn directions are rudimentary at best, and it doesn't have quick info readily available like ETA and total miles. it's there, but not at a glance.

iGuidance is what I use. Works flawlessly with TalynOne's instructions.

Re: What's the best GPS application 4 my Mogul???

I have both garmin and iguidance installed, but mostly I use Garmin, clear voice, great graphics, alot of POI's and doesnt need extra programs to run. I have it configured with FtouchSL slide left to right and run.

Re: What's the best GPS application 4 my Mogul???

My preference:

1. iGuidance for driving and road-biking.

2. Memory-Map for off-road stuff like hiking, snowshoeing and mountain-biking.

Re: What's the best GPS application 4 my Mogul???

I have TeleNav since it is part of my unlimited all package, so I don't want to pay for another. I haven't tried Garmin mobile, but I would be more likely to since I use a Nuvi 660 in my car now. TeleNav works great; I used it while out of town when the printed Mapquest directions that my friend had got her turned around; my phone to the rescue!

Re: What's the best GPS application 4 my Mogul???

I like smart2go for WM 6. The software and maps are free
and can be located on a SD card (use about 1.7 gigs).

The voice commands are realy quits good.

You have to pay for the navagation service. You can buy it
by the week, month, year or three years. If you buy the three
year it is about $5.00/mo.
