Keyboard backlight

Hey I have noticed something weird. My backlight on the keyboard turns off comletely. I can remember it being on maybe once. I was poking around looking for the settings and all I can find is a checkbox for a sensor, i check and uncheck the box and nothing happens. Anyone know how to solve?

The sensor checkbox is what you want. If it's on then the backlight won't light up if there's enough light hitting the sensor. If it's off, the backlight will always come on when the keyboard is slid out.

If you uncheck it and slide the keyboard out, it should come on.

I uncheck the box and slide out the keyboard but still no light. I cant type in the dark! Anyone else know of any others settings...?

The keyboard has its own sensor and only turns on if its dark enough to require it. Designed to save the battery. GO in a closet and check it out.

dude Ive been in the dark bathroom for an hour now and still no keylights! This is weird. Should I call sprint or HTC? Also, how come my contacts keep getting deleted?

that is not a phone u have there sir....its a lemon....

have u flashed any custom roms lately? if so i suggest you reflash...to ons of Dcd's clean roms...and see if the problem persists....or if u have never flashed...then i suggest a soft reset...if that doesnt get it to work then sync ur phone...and bust a hard reset...
