Re: BT disconnects

I'm having the problem with my no2chem 5060 cooked ROMs that after a phone call or two, it'll suddenly go silent in the middle of a call and neither the headset nor the handset speaker/microphone will function again until I soft-reset.

Has anyone gone to Sprint about this?

Re: BT disconnects

sounds like im not the only one experiencing this issue.

i ran the customizations, it is a 100% stock sprint rom and working the way that sprint intended. i have a plantronics voyager 815 and a globalsat BT-359 that both experience the disconnect.

when this happens, the comm manager will show the bluetooth is still on. if i wait long enough it will show as off.

the fix for me has always been just turn it off and then turn it back on, calls will pick back up and the gps will start working again no problem. i havent had any issues with pairings.

Re: BT disconnects

I have been having the same problem....I tried this a couple hors ago and it seems to be working ... so far...

I deleted (or undid) the A2DP modifications that I found here on the site. Since I have done that, I have not had a BT disconnect.... (it has only been 2 hours, but I was getting disconnects every 5 to 7 minutes)

Can someone else try this and see if it really is the problem?

i didnt do any of the A2DP mods so that would not be the source problem that i am experiencing. must be rough losing it every 5-7 minutes, i get pissed when i lose it once or twice a day.

Re: BT disconnects

Okay...so the diconnects did not stop...so I tried something else...

1) Deleted the BT headset from my profile
2) Soft reset my Mogul - THIS SEEMS TO BE IMPORTANT
3) Re-pair my headset

Seems to have helped. I have not had to a BT disconnect since then...

Will wait and see...anyone else?

I have never tried to soft reset after deleting the headset, I might have to try that. Report back if you have issues.

Re: BT disconnects

I'm having the same problem with BT disconnecting in my audi handsfree. It did so occasionally on the last 2.x firmware, but constantly on 3.35. I've run the firmware both with an without the Sprint mods with no difference, and multiple pairings with the handsfree system, so I don't believe it's any of the following that I've heard suggested:

1) Hard Reset - tried it, no dice
2) Load with/without Sprint software - tried both, no dice
3) Particular mods or add-ons. I've tried switching from HTC Homeplug to Spb Shell, no effect.

Of course, I haven't done every possible permutation of the three above, but this was not an issue with the 2.x firmware. I'll see if I can find any other fixes.

Re: BT disconnects

Mine does the same thing after upgrading to the new rom. I currently use a Samsung WEP500. After a min or so of using the headset it gets disconnected and i have to use the phone normally in order to finish the call. I have tried everything that was posted above and still no change. I have not installed any BT mods

Re: BT disconnects

i have the same exact problem running the stock alltel rom and experienced this using a moto h700, moto h12, and a moto hs850. the 850 seemed to connect faster than the rest of the bunch but i can hardly hear out of the thing any fix yet?
