Re: WMWirelessRouter

WMwifirouter v0.91 is the latest free version.'

Read this link, as they have a link to download it:
http://freewarepocketpc.org/2008/com...to-accesspoint

I am sure that the person who developed this has made some changes to the newest release, so although the product is to come out of Beta in April, you may want to try the latest one.

I haven't used ICS Control, only WMWIFIRouter, and I only used it a few times and the program is Exceptional. Once it is connected you can search on your laptop for WIFI signal (I believe the SSID is: WIFIRouter), and later set your encryption (although admittedly I haven't used it enough to need to set this.)

Just saw it today. Haven't used it yet. Have used WiFiRouter and works well.

I just installed WMWiFiRouter v0.91 and ran the software. It connected with "phone as modem". Did you have "phone as modem" or "Sprint PCS" ? How do you make it connect as "Sprint PCS"?

Re: WMWirelessRouter

No sprint should not be able to notice because you are conecting through Sprint PCS #777# and not PAM phone as a modem.

Re: WMWirelessRouter

Ok, great. I just tried it and it works terrific. Battery drain is intense as fortold.

But one thing I noticed is I can no longer connect to my home network WiFi access point. Yes, i have ensured the WMWiFiRouter program is disabled and I even ended its the task for it. Ill try again when I get home but it was slightly concerning.

Re: WMWirelessRouter

So i followed the direction for setting up WMWifiRouter per the Apache forum (didn't see on in the Titan forum) and I'm still not conecting. Right now I'm in "network & Sharing" (Vista of course) and it says my Mogul connection is unidentified. Any thoughts on this?

Re: WMWirelessRouter

Can anyone give a detailed setup for the Mogul with Vista or point me to the right thread?
