This would help out so much in the hell that is theme park parking lots, namely Disney Land and Six Flags Magic Mountain.

Nicely done. Program response is quick, small footprint and very little draw on resources.
I did note the bug of 0.00 location data if the GPS wasn't ready, but running the 'save' app a 2nd time grabbed a fix in a couple of seconds.

Nice novelty to impress your friends. I can definately see myself using it at a large busy mall. "Which row did we park on?" Particularly in an unfamaliar area.

So, here's ANOTHER way to do the same thing..

1) install shozu (http://www.shozu.com/portal/)
2) link to flickr
3) turn on geocoding and auto-upload new items in zhozu on the mogul

Now, to tag a spot - like your parking space - just snap a shot of it. It will get tagged and uploaded to flickr, where you can see it on a big map :D

Sorry, just another more complicated way to go ;)

hmm, that might actually be a good feature to add, for it to download pictures of the location from google maps...

note that there is a minor issue with it not subtracting the heading from the bearing correctly, so the location of your car might be in reference to true north instead of where you're really heading until i get a chance to fix it

Yes, just started watching the first season on DVD. I've always been intrigued about the DB Cooper mystery though. I've seen numerous history channel and crime tv specials about it. But, Prison Break is really good so far. Half-way through season one, and I'm hooked. :headbang:

a friend has this on his android (G1) device and its a very basic app in its functionality. i too would like to see the ability to save multiple locations.

I would LOVE one of these apps to support Altitude as well as simple coordinates of latitude and longitude. I realize that in my particular application (leveled parking garages in Chicago) my gps signal will most likely be compromised somewhat anyways, however it would be a great help if you happen to forget which level you parked on as I tend to do if I'm running late when I arrive and am rushing.

Any new development on this App seems like a pretty handy one to have around? Particularly on VGA devices like for the Touch Pro.
