Titan extended rom...

Ok, so I flashed with the new official rom the day it came out and did not let the customization run afterward, but have read from some folks that I should have, then done another hard reset. My question is, how are those changes going to remain permanent if I hard reset after the fact. The extended rom customization are installations that run after the rom has been installed, and thus, once I hard reset it will undo those. As far as all of the research that I have done shows, since they are "after-the-fact" installations, they are wiped out with each hard reset. Can someone explain to me if this is wrong and furthermore, if it is wrong, can someone tell me which customizations are necessary, (or just a breakdown of the installations in general,) in the extended rom? Also, how can these be "hard installs?" I've had nothing but a wonderful experience with the new rom thus far. Thanks to all!

P.S. Did a search.
