Re: Mogul Camera - Blurry Text?
i don't think the lens on the mogul can focus on close up objects. i remember having the mm-5600, and it had a switch on the front of the phone for taking extreme close up pictures. but sadly, i don't think the mogul can.

Re: Mogul Camera - Blurry Text?
I had considered that, so I took a picture from further away, and tried zooming in, once the picture was taken. Detail was still not captured.

Re: Mogul Camera - Blurry Text?
The Moguls camera is crappy for doing any kind pictures of anything with detail. Maybe its just i cant keep it still but I have tried doing exactly what you attempted and no matter what setting i really couldnt get a satisfactory result. It seemed like even when you zoomed in it got just a blurry as when you put the phone too close.

Re: Mogul Camera - Blurry Text?
I've removed the hand moving element by using a timer and setting it down, both camera phones, and the lesser one (Katana) takes a far superior picture.
I appreciate other confirmations, with out them I'd be considering sending it in for repair, but apparently it is what it is. Edit: I was never big on taking pictures with my phones, but have been using Evernote (check out www.giveawayoftheday.com) and it would have been nice to capture things outside. I always have my Katanna with me as well, so I'll just have to use that phone I suppose. Evernote does have a Windows Mobile app, but is of no use with the Mogul camera. |

Re: Mogul Camera - Blurry Text?
if you had the 6700, the camera had a little slider knob where you could choose between closeup and regular focus.... it did work a lot better than the mogul's camera for business cards, etc.

Re: Mogul Camera - Blurry Text?
For things you don't need the high (2MP) resolution on, try dropping the size and then compare the images for readability.
