Re: device.exe error

I also get the same error, I've also received a system32.exe error. Ive have both of these pop up with or without GPS active. It kills myGPS connection, and I haveto softreset my phone in order to use GPS again.

Re: device.exe error

I am getting the device.exe has caused an error and to send the report to M$. I tried sending it once but haven't since then. I run the normal Sprint firmware that they just released (3.35). I have not done any modifications besides getting rid of the message sent screen after each text messages. Does anyone have an idea as to what might be causing this? Your help is much appreciated!!!!!!

Re: device.exe error

This is a known problem at least with BAF GPS Toggler (today screen GPS toggle plugin I wrote). Basically, it boils down to a bug in the GPS driver, if you have an open handle to the GPS device and put the phone to sleep, when it comes back up and the handle is interacted with or closed, the driver crashes.

Re: device.exe error

I get this error too! Then you get the screen error to sent the info to Microsoft right?

I think my problem is because GPSGate is there after I get back from sleep mode. I usually exit it when I am not using. Then when I want to use my GPS, I get GPSGate back on.

I am now using GPSGate .308 and it is working fine. On the Input tab, I put checkmark on Close input when Idle and I uncheck on Close input on power off.

Now I have not been seeing the error after I come back from sleep mode.

Give it a try if you are using GPSGate.

So far I have not seen this problem.

Try to isolate your problem.

Re: device.exe error

I just told you what the problem was, don't need to isolate anything. :P

The Close input on power off closes the GPS handle before the phone goes to sleep, so the driver doesn't crash on wake.

Re: device.exe error

This error is crashing my Internet Connection as well as other connections.
I have multiple handhelds I test configurations with and I see it, even with nothing but the base ROM 3.35 installed.
