Re: gps software help here

You are correct!

Google Maps will give you directions, but don't leave your coverage area. It requires a data connection to operate.

Re: gps software help here

iNav iGudiance 4 has received very good reviews and is a popular one for USA maps. There is a YouTube Video that shows you its basic functions.

You might want to look at the GPS discussion at the very top of the forum page... just a thought

Re: gps software help here

Hello, guys... anyone else using iGuidance on their HTC Mogul??? Its runnin really behind and sloooooooow. It’s not updating map while driving, and when u get close to the turns, or re-routing options are no good. I've used it on my Samsung Q1 before, and had no problems... So, assuming its because of the RAM on the PPC?! Anyone? Thanks.

I have the same problem. I think there is a workaround. I and searching the forums, but havent found a turnkey solution yet.

Re: gps software help here

iGuidance doesn't poll (gather) the data from the internal GPS correctly on it's own... check out FiteFreak's link...
