Re: Tethering with the new ROM

I deleleted the key in question using total commander, and after a soft reset, it's back again.

wtf? Happens every time. tried using PHM as well, deleted, and it's back after a reset.

And maybe this will help, the value of the key isn't rilphone.dll.

it's rilphone2.dll

Don't soft reset right away after making a registry change, wait a minute or two b4 the soft reset, I usually wait about 5 minutes. For some unknown reason, it takes a while for it to actually make the registry change.

Re: Tethering with the new ROM

yeah, that's what it took.

Now where is used to be reasonably fast (bluetooth on a macbook pro) it's now incredibly slow, managing only 100kbps down or so.

Makes me wish I hadn't upgraded the rom.

Dang, is your speed really that high? that seemed highly unlikely, does anyone else can get speeds that high via Rev. A?

said it before....isn't any way that was on sprint's network. dont know how he did it...i tried to duplicate it here on my home network with laptop tethered, and then plugging into my cable connection....speedtest.net would pick up the diff IP and log it as such. so as much as I hate to say it...(cough...PhotoShop...cough)??
