Speedomiter with Updated Rom

I'm looking for a speedomiter app for the mogul with the new ROM which enables onboard GPS. Anyone know of any free apps that provide this functionality?

GPSToday can do that, although I don't really like that app cause it slows down my phone.

But any GPS app should show you that kind of basic info.

Hi Baffles. Are you using the .93v of GPStoday? I only ask because, the first 2 versions of it .91-.92 also slowed my mogul down, but the most recent one works like a champ for me. Just curious. Thanks dschoenike

Thanks again. GPSToday keeps causing device.exe to crash requiring a soft reset. I'm going to try GPSAuto today.

Welcome here,,,,,,,,,,
If you establish connection to your gps with a app such as Google maps or Live search you can dial ##debug# and look down to the bottom left and click Debug info. Once you do that you will see a pop up menu with GPS on it and it will give you your vertical speed, horizontal speed, latitude, longitude, time stamp, altitude, heading and other info.

i know how to dial the ##778# for the EPST but how do i dial ##debug#? do i put in the numbers that correspond with the letters or the actual letters?

I have GPSAuto that I use with my bluetooth GPS. Donationware = free

Seems quite stable and I have changed the speed thresholds so that It tells me when I reach speeds in 10k intervals.
