Rev. A setting in EPST on new ROM

i was changing my slot cycle and i was looking at other settings...tryin to find a solution to roaming maybe....so i looked at the Data Parameters and its has:

Packet Dial String: #777
Rev A: Disable

I have the new ROM installed and ran a speedtest.net
Disable - 1300/260
Enable - 1280/120

so no real difference but odd that there is a setting in there that is disabled

any ideas??
