Answering Call Delay...

I know some one had a post similar to this post a while back but I can't seem to find it...but anyways for some reason when someone calls me theres a delay when I try to answer it...some time the delay is so long that by the time it5 actually goes through the person has already hung up or it has already went to my voicemail...does any one have any suggestion as far how I can go about fixing this with out a hard reset?

There are two issues. First, there is a delayed ring. by the time you first hear your phone ring, it has rung twice or three times on the other end. Secondly, there is a small delay answering your phone as well.

Change the slot cycle index to 0 and that will speed up the ringing from 2-3 to 1-2

I had an issue where I would hit the answer button and it would take 2 or 3 seconds before the phone would actually answer. Culprit turned out to be Advanced Config 1.1 and a hard reset was the only way for me to fix it.

My issue sounds similar. I have to push "Answer" twice in order to actually answer the phone.
I push answer the 1st time and the ringer is silenced, I push answer the 2nd time and that actually answers the phone.
Any ideas folks?

when i was having this issue i thought it was some type of effect from using s2u2.. since i've removed it, i no longer have any issues whatsoever with picking up calls.

This happened to me as well and I haven't tried any of the Advance Config versions since? Can anybody confirm the version doesn't cause this problem?

I second that. Sucks cuz I really need the functionality of S2U2...so which is the lesser of 2 evils:

Pocket dialing

or

Flakey phone ringing/answering abilities....

I do not use S2U2 but I do have the latest version of Advanced Config installed (ver. 2.02.0.1.0) and I do not have issues when answering incoming calls.
