Re: Answering Call Delay...

This's an issue that's been plaguing me for a week or more. I dinno which thread's most recent, there are several. But I think I've narrowed it down to a today plugin issue.

Since we got GPS, I've been playing with any that looked cool. lol The offender (in my case) seems to be GPSToday. If it's set to get automatic fixes, and data is enabled, it will refresh every time the phone wakes up... which is also during every incomming call. So the problem is the delay in dropping the data connection.
(Thanks to GoodThings2Life http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...lay+connection )
Disabling autofix seems to have fixed the problem. (I hope) I'm going to do further testing tonight to verify, and see if the app will obey its fixed interval settings. I've also e-mailed the developer. Though I only had 2 apps on my today screen, I suspect any today plug-in that grabs internet updates would have the potential to cause this problem.

More to follow. :)

Re: Answering Call Delay...

Advanced Config and Google Maps were both installed on mine.
I removed both of them, and my problem has been fixed.
Like an idiot I didn't do them one at a time, so I'm not sure which one was the culprit.
