GMAIL Question
 
Whenever I send an email on my phone or on my computer thru gmail.com....

it will show up in my inbox as a new msg

anyone know how to stop this?

for some reason it does that if you use POP3. i have it set up with IMAP4 and it doesn't do that.

It all has to do with the way Gmail's conversation threads work. I'm used to it now, lol.

Is the IMAP4 working properly now? I know lots of ppl were having issues with it before.

yes .. it does indeed work now. BUT.. if you use wm 6.1 you have to trick it to allow to to add the server settings. But as people have stated previously, that is a POP3 error with gmail.

I have been using gmail daily without any issues. But if you can still recreate this issue and tell us how you did I would be glad to look into it for you.

I'm using SEVEN for push IMAP email for gmail. Works great.
