Normally when you open UL settings you select a tab and hit change. On the next screen at the top you would hit the "Tab" tab (lol). At the bottom of that screen you should see a check box that says "Open tab on startup". I guess you're saying you can't see this option. You can set this in the .ini file though. Under the page you want to open at startup add the Active command as see here:

When you first open UL settings the active tab should have a brown rectangle around it.

There may be a plugin active when ultimate launch starts. Go to settings / today / items and make sure ultimate launch is the only item selected.

See if you can delete UL from ActiveSync while hooked to a computer.

I had to hard reset my xv6800 a few times while learning the ins & outs of UL.

UL needs to be the ONLY plug-in activated on your home screen, you then load the other plug-ins you want to load from withing the tabs. I forgot this a few times & accidentally activated both UL & HTC_HOME with an active tab running HTC_HOME on the home screen (if that makes any sense to you)

That locked up the system solid & only a hard reset would get out of it. If I had PocketPlus installed with the safe mode, that would have bailed it out, but unfortunately I didn't think of that until it was too late..........

Anyone know of a today plugin for sms? I'd love to be able to have a devoted tab to view sms right there.. I've tried programs like SMS-Chat from Vito, which is pretty awesome, but annoying to have to actually open up the program. Even some sort of work around to display my inbox in a tab would be nice..

Thanks for the suggestion! I have this running on my phone now, and it's just what I wanted. Though with my theme it's a little hard to read.. I'm having trouble configuring anything but the font size. Can you change the font from something other than white? With SBSH Pocketbreeze it was nifty in that you could add an outline or drop shadow to the font to make it easier to read with themes..
