Slide out keyboard
Is anyone else having an issue with their slide out keyboard? For me keys that I use often such as u(2), .(0) and function don't always work unless I press them hard. I haven't had this problem with my apache which is still going strong after 2 years.
Could it be a fault on my phone, or is it just a badly designed keyboard? Thanks, sdawson |
Re: Slide out keyboard
Do you have insurance on your phone? If so, take it in and they will most likely replace it with a new one.

Re: Slide out keyboard
Sounds to me like you may have a bad keymat. Like muyoso said, take it back and see if they will swap it out. Even if you dont have insurance, your phone comes with a 1 year warranty FROM THE MANUFACTURER. Granted, you may have to send it in for them to fix it (along with proof of purchase), it still will be worthwhile. When you spend that kind of money of a smartphone, you want it to work right ? :)

Re: Slide out keyboard
I seem to have problems with my Fn key (blue dot on bottom left). I don't have insurance with Sprint, but I wonder if HTC will repair or replace my phone for this.

Re: Slide out keyboard
if you bought with a CC that guarantees your warranty like Amex and you're past your 1 yr, they will pay for all repairs for another year.

Re: Slide out keyboard
I dunno, I've always called sprint with my warranty claims. They send me a new phone, I send my old one back, and all is good.

Re: Slide out keyboard
I think the Mogul hasnt been out for 1 full year yet..it should WELL be under warranty.
email ecare, i am almost-positive they will send you a return kit. |
Re: Slide out keyboard
I contacted eCare, and they want me to take it to a Sprint Store to verify the problem, then call UT Starcom. What?
They should just give me a replacement! |
