nueMMS.exe. Help
 

Im not sure if this has been talked on here but I doubt it has...so I'll ask anways...
So I upgraded the new Offical ROM from sprint on my mogul yesterday and now I can't use the picturemail work around (nueMMS) any more...when I click on the icon it doesn't even open...instead it gives me an error that says...
"An unexpected error has occurred in nueMMS.exe. Select Quit and then restart this program, or select Details for more information. This application requires a newer version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework than the version installed on this device" ](*,)

When I click on Details it says this...
"MissingMethodException...This application requires a newer version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework than the version installed on this device" ](*,)

Now I know the obvious thing would be to just update my .NET Framework but Im unsure what effect that it will have on my phone and Im not familiar with it either...I dont want to download it and then end up having to do a Hard reset..I mean IF I have to then so be it..but I want to try not to do it...Does anyone have any advice for me on this issue? If there is already a post about this can someone please post the link or at least stair me in the right direction?...Thanks alot.

If it is telling you that you need the newest .net framework why not install it. it can't hurt. .net is a msft product, and have had no issues with it.

So I guess I have to get it from the Microsoft website correct?..Does anyone here have a the fix for this already? if so is it possiable that it can be posted here to save me the drama?..

Hmmm
I tried this with pktpix and T-mobile on Monday and both worked OK
Tried to send a pic to myself today, and no go...
Anybody have any ideas?

q same thing with me i could send to other carriers just not anyone on sprint it never sent.. now nobdy can get anything from me anyone got any ideas/.

Okay, this gets even weirder.
Apparently I can send with GMail, but not Activesync/Exchange.
In fact, even if I manually create an email (in poutlook) with attachment and send it via exchange, still no good.
However, if I create the same exact email on my PC, and send via outlook, no problems again.
Anybody know what's up with that?
How can Sprint even tell the difference on whether the email was sent from a mobile device or not?

From what I can tell, it looks like there is a lot of data on the "internet heading" when I send an email from my mobile via exchange. However, the same email sent directly through exchange via outlook on a PC does not have this. Could sprint be filtering out my messages from my mobile device this way?

just run the .exe when u have an activesync connection, and itll install it man.

n dont worry all it does is update ur framework, its from M$ so it wont mess with ya too bad. :]

Here you go. I downloaded the full 3.5 Compact .net exe (2008 release) and extracted the cab files from it. Below is the one you should need for the Mogul.
