Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
Nice work, this makes the hack even more simple for people to use.

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
Makes the external speaker louder but does nothing for the earpeice. phone_earcuple_vol is already at max by system default, but if I'm not mistaken, the guy who worked on audiopara over at pdaphone home found that the max setting wasn't set at the factory at something like 75% of the potential volume. I think he was able to get his earpeice so loud that it was impossible to hear over the distortion. I'll find the thread in a bit and see if I have any clue what I'm talking about, lol.

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
any chance this will be adopted for 2.17? Aside from this and rev.a I have no need for 3.x. I just need a phone that works well as a phone, but the vol issues are very frustrating on a regular basis

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
Well I just wish I knew what each one of those settings stand for.
Some of them are simple to figure out, but others I have no idea. If someone can post the explanation that would be greatly appreciated. thanks. |
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
Ok, finally got something for you and I took a minute to confirm that it makes a difference. In this thread http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/ppc-6...me-issues.html
msw logo says Quote:
What I did was copy just the values in ear_cuple column J from his to yours and it put the speaker volume up so that I couldn't bear to hold it next to my ear in a quiet room! I'll test it in a noisy environment tomorrow, but it seems that this is the key. If someone has an oscope and some free time you might be able to play around with the columns and find out what they actually do. (actually, now that I think about it, this would be a pain unless you could adjust them in real time.) This is definitely good! I'm satisfied with the volume now. :) |
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
I'm a n00b at this program... tried to change BT volume to max, even installed one from the link here...
No difference in volume with my Jawbone & DCD's 2.1 Hrm... just noticed a 2.3.1 includes new BT drivers.... |
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
No difference on 3.2.1
|
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
i'm running this on 2.17, wasn't it supposed to run on 2.17, have no issues at all with it on that ROM.

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
So with your 5049 build and my Plantronics 510s has a severe echo on the caller's side consistantly and as my wife refers to it, sounds like a buzz saw running in the background. The only adjustment that's seemed to make any difference was the Phone_BTHEADSET. If I reduce it too low the Buzz saw disappears as well as the echo, but much lower and my voice becomes garbled. I've played around and I've come across a mix that seems to remove the echo and reduce the buzz saw to a static(have the slider right below the 1st e in Levels). I probably spent 4 hours on just playing with this adjustment, more on the others, but I can't say I understand what all of them them do. Does anyone else have any more to add in this area? What are others seeing with their headsets. Make sure you are asking those on the other end. On my side it sounds crystal clear at all times. This appears to be tinkering with echo cancelation.

Question: I should be able to take the configuration file that I made adjustments to with the application, rename it to audiopara.csv then replace that in my kitchen, right? The way I see it I should only need this program one time. |

Just my two cents |
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
i tried the config file from xweaponx, man oh man what feedback. it was atrocious. I'd use the application just that there's no clear guidance on what optimal settings are for a titan for example. I went back to default.

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
I have Qwest service. I put the standard (not the OEM) cab on my phone and the handset volume seems to be better. Does anyone know how I can get more volume out of my BT and get the speaker to stop squealing?

Yes there is a drop down menu at the top where you can select settings for BT headset and Hands Free (speaker) |
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
Nevermind. LOL. I still don't understand what some of the drop-down options change. Is there any way to edit the volume for the system sounds, ex. text message or ringer sounds?

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
I have the Seidio handsfree car kit. I figured out how to get the external speaker to increase volume. But the microphone isnt picking up, is there a way to increase the gain on the external mic ???

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
ive downloaded the app and it wont let me open it. I get this error message and makes me close it

Something I've noticed... everytime I run the app, activesync makes me re-sync as if I switched to a new PC. Its done the same thing on leaked 3.16 Rom and no2chems WM 6.1 rom. And for some reason, there are always a few items that take 2-3 syncs to resolve. |
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
so, is this application compatible with the new mogul ROM that was released on 3/10/08
|
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
I dont think so because Im having issues where it is crashing when I try to change settings.......
|
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
have you downloaded/installed the latest version of the .NET CF 3.5?
I had a crash on teh first time but my question wasn't will it crash, it may, my question was, will it run? i can get it run now and it works fine, so I answered my own question. |

would it be hard for each screen in nueaudio to have a description of what is being changed? |
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
Guys, just grab the Audiopara file Scrufdog made for the 3.16 ROM, works perfectly with the new ROM and is louder than the nueAudio program, and with nothing to install to boot.

You have an awesome program here - thank you very much! I just wish I could get it to work on my phone, I will provide you with as much detail as I can as to what my settings are and what my problem is.

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
Bump from page 3, screenshots included. :)
|
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
to me that looks like either a failed .NET installation or one that isn't complete or corrupted. You could try to reinstall .NET.
|
Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
I did that twice, but thanks for the suggestion. :)
Unless someone has a different .cab of the .NET? |

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
I know this thread has been done for a while but I am trying to run this program on my mogul. Guess it is a 6800. It's the newest version. Pretty obvious that I'm a newbie huh? Anywho, I downloaded the program and it installed fine. However, it is nowhere to be found. Tried downloading it to my memory card to, which has nothing on it becuz I just got a new one today due to my usb port going bad,....still can't find it. I know it's right under my nose but I just can't seem to find it in programs or the file explore. WTF???

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
This might be a dumb question. But where do I adjust the phone microphone gain on the setting. BTW, this is the phone microphone not bluetooth mic. Thanks

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
I'm just curious as to which setting is for the external speaker (for ringtones to sound louder rather than speakerphone).

Re: nueAudio - audiopara.csv editor
The error I get when I run this is
nueAudio.exe ArgumentOutOfRangeException Specified argument was ot of the valid values. at System.String.Substring(Int32startIndex, Int32 length) at nueAudio.Form1.makedefault() at nueAudio.Form1.initializeDefaults() at nueAudio.Form1..ctor() at nueAudio.Program.Main() Any ideas? |
