Frozen at Today screen

So I woke up this morning with my mogul saying that the outlook client couldnt continue without downloading and updating the policies on my phone. So I hit Ok. 10 min later my phone froze.. I reset, and now all of my customizations are gone (htctoday), i had to re set up the screen (touching the different points), re setup the time, and it re-installed all the sprint crap i had uninstalled. Now I get messages saying it cant run some startup apps because they are from unautorized publishers.

Whe it gets to starting mbutton.exe, it prompts me saying "The program is from an unknown publisher. Running it can possibly harm your device. Do you want to continue?

at this point I can't do anything. I have reset multiple times with the same issues. I tried using Active Sync to remove Magic Button from the Startup folder, but I get access denied whenever I try.

Any help would be appreciated

Have you tried booting in safe mode and moving mbutton.exe so that it doesn't try to autolaunch?

It sounds like your Mogul somehow did a partial hard reset. Try doing a hard reset (hold down both buttons with the dots while pressing the stylus in the reset hole) and that should remove all start-up apps that were not part of the original ROM. Unless the problem is due to you having installed a custom ROM with problem additional apps cooked into it; in that case you may have to flash back to an official (or the unofficial "leaked") HTC ROM.

In any case your data (contacts, calendar, etc) will need to be restored.
