HTC Home Plugin launcher tab

I've tried searching through the million HTC Home plugin posts...

I would just like to know if there is a way to add ANY shortcut to the launcher screen rather than the preselected ones in the list.

No it doesn't. If you use the customizer program, it still uses the same preselected programs to include in your launcher.

I need to know how to add ANY ANY ANY program to the launcher list.
NOT NOT NOT just the ones it gives you to choose from.

Its really easy. Go find the exe for the program you want to run, using either file explorer or Resco Explorer or any other one, create a shortcut of the exe, and then place that shortcut in Windows>StartMenu>Programs. You will then be able to see it on the list when you want to add programs to the launcher tab of HTC Home.

I've searched around and I haven't found a way to change the messaging button at the home screen. It defaults to my Live account but 95% of the time I use my exchange account. Is there a reg edit I can perform to get this to work?
