What would be cool is, I saw a post a while back about turning your 6800 into digital scales. Imagine that.

I remember that thread about the scale! That would be pretty nifty while on the road. Not like I would ever need it though. =p As for a biometrics scanner on a device like the 6800, that would be siiiick.

it would be cool if it really was possible,, but this was talked about before and the mogul only sees our finger as a giant stylus. and for this to work on our moguls wouldnt we have to get our screen recreated?

A touch screen sensor is a clear panel with a touch responsive surface. The touch sensor/panel is placed over a display screen so that the responsive area of the panel covers the viewable area of the video screen. There are several different touch sensor technologies on the market today, each using a different method to detect touch input. The sensor generally has an electrical current or signal going through it and touching the screen causes a voltage or signal change. This voltage change is used to determine the location of the touch to the screen.

There is no possible way to read fingerprints, scan documents, or measure weight/pressure. Besides, you could only weigh tiny things that fit in the small screen size of the Titan. Most things that small wouldn't even be able to set off the touchscreen as input.
