I heard that you don't have the ability to port numbers from prepaid phones. Or, at least that's what I was told once before when I went to the Sprint store with my sister and she couldn't do it.

But nonetheless, I wanted to do the same thing (move my 1 line over to another carrier, and then port it back to Sprint and get on a Sero plan by myself). Thanks for the heads up. I will soon have my phone on a Sero plan, and I"ll let my fam keep the other two phones and pay for them.

Does that savings@sprintemi.com still work on the SERO website and can switch to that plan using that email? Could anyone who has done it recently confirm this? Reps to anyone who can help out.

Yes the savings@sprintemi.com email does work. Although it's not particularly hard to try it yourself :-P cut and paste is amazing.

I believe the email account just gets you access to the rest of the site, it doesn't have a bearing on who gets credit or anything like that.

Alright. I appreciate that. I just figured what the hell. I want to get on that plan because I just think I spend WAY too much money on a share plan and too much money for these extras.

First of all, it is possible to change regular sprint plan to a sero plan, it just takes long time. It took me 3 months to get my account changed.

If you already have sprint #, it is almost impossible to get it switched to a sero plan. It is specifically for NEW customers. So if you want to port an existing sprint # over to SERO plan, forget about it, or just bug them like i did,

The easiest ways to change your plan are:

1. EASIEST : forget about your old number and sign up for sero plan online. You will lose your old number, but you will have SERO plan 100%.

2. if you are out of contract, port your number over to verizon (they have 30 day trial ),, after you port your number and have it all set up and working over on verizon side,,, goto sero website and sign up for it porting your now verizon number. Once you return everything back to verzion,, you only get charged for minutes you have used.

if you are sitll under contract, there really isn't any easy way for you to switch to sero.

hope this helps a few...

It gets you in the site but it wont go through. Trust me. I had to spend hours with sprint to get it all straighten out. But it was worth it I guess..

If the savings@sprintemi.com doesnt work make sure to save the invoice that is gonna be sent to your e-mail box. They will ask for it and switch you over when you provide it.
