usb plug in broken

Someone on craigslist is willing to trade their mogul for my nintendo ds with 3 games for it (with carying pouch) with some ps2 games, 1 xbox game, and $100 for their mogul. But i dont know if i should do it or not because their usb plug in is broken and they said they still have warrenty under it so i can fix it but thats only if i sign up with a sprint account. but i planing on signing up on cricket. so is their anyway i can fix it? because if not i dont want to trade because it would be worthless.

I wouldnt take a phone with a broken usb, its by far the easiest way to upgrade/add software/backup

If the usb was broken wouldnt you not be able to charge it.

One thing to consider. I thought for sure that the USB connector on my mogul was broken, but in fact it was just a little dirty. I took an alcohol swab and was able to get it working.

In short, it might not be a USB problem that isn't very easy to fix.

if it is still under warranty and it can be so Easily replaced.. why don't they do it? Exactly. Don't be a sucker.
