nothing devistating, but when you paired the device with old rom the dispay pulled all the characters in the "name" portion of your owner information up to the end of the headset's display. now, it will only take the first 15 characters.

this may sound like a who cares to some, but i used to be able to fit my first name, last initial, and telephone number *just in case i lost it and someone was nice enough to find it and return it to me, or on the off chance someone hot jotted it down to call me later*.

anyway, you can set your owner info to something that fits within 15 characters (or just keep it blank) and then pair the device. once it is paired, you can change the name in the owner information to whatever you like because it won't change on the display after the initial pairing.
