I'm in San Jose CA, we are supposed to have rev A - I'm not doing the test rom so no way to confirm, but in general EVDO speeds are subpar here (not even getting full evdo r0 pipe) so its likely just oversubscribed :(

But, here's the kicker...'usin' stock ROM v2.09 (as you can see from the upload) and fluctuatin' btwn only 2-3 bars. 'Know this was for RevA, but bein' that my connection's kickin' so many of you guy's @$$es @ Rev0...well, well...'just wanted to brag. PLEASE, don't flame. :P ::heh heh::

No, you're not an uber-leet hax0r until you flash the new rom :mrgreen: Decent downstream, I'm moving today...first thing I do when I get there is a tether speedtest haha. It's not just the upstream thats better but latency is also improved so it's more noticable even if you're not 'uploading' per se.

I thought the same thing, but I still get pretty nice speeds on Rev A.

I'm getting about 1Mb down and 850k up in Frederick, MD. I'm pretty pleased.

that's good downstream but look at your latency and upload...I'd take 700down, 500 up, with 100ms latency any day of the week.

Hey i thought when they were hyping up Rev A that they were saying it could have latency down as low as 50ms, but I've never yet seen anything under 80 from anybody. Was that just marketing hype or was I mistaken from the beginning?

greetings. im in milwaukee Wi, and have been getting after upgrading to the new rom, about 1200 download and 500 upload using wmwirouter on speedtest.net. my question is, and it may be a real noob question, but when i try using a speedtest directly on my mogul, im no where near the results when im using wmwifirouter through my pc. whats the difference? and why such a difference? thx in advance if anyone can explain. dschoenike
