Mogul syncing--What am I doing wrong

Ok so in windows mobile it will not all allow me to check any of the boxes other than files and mobile favorites. Why is this? I need to sync my contacts. Needless to say sprint was no help. I also tried to do it in my device and it will not allow me to check any of the boxes eaither .
