Are you trying to use the internal GPS with the new 3.16 ROM or an external ROM?
If you are trying to use the internal GPS you will need a external program to trigger the GPS port, such as Google Maps or LiveSearch. However Baffles has written a program to do this with out doing this. bafgpsv01t.exe is his program and is real simple. You just insert the path of TomTom, for me it was \Storage Card\Program Files\Navigator\TomTom Navigation.exe. and change the time from 20 to 40 or 60, 20 was to slow. Then scroll down and hit save. Once this is done run the program again and it will launch bafgpsv01t.exe then TomTom. Once in TomTom click on "Preferences" then "Show GPS Status", then "Configure". From there select "Other NMEA GPS receiver". Select Baud rate of 9600 and select COM4. Then exit and restart bafgpsv01t.exe, Then it should show that it has an active receiver. If you are using a BT GPS receiver you need to configure it through the start menu. Go to Start Menu->Settings->Connections->Bluetooth Here pair the BT GPS receiver. Also make sure that serial port is selected. Once that is done select the "COM ports" tab and select "New Outgoing" then select the port that you want, (I use 4 or 8 which are not used) . Next go to Start Menu->Settings->System->External GPS. Leave the program port at 5 and click on the "Hardware" tab and select the com that you selected in the Bluetooth section. Once done go into TomTom and Once in TomTom click on "Preferences" then "Show GPS Status", then "Configure". From there select "Other Bluetooth GPS receiver". Then select the COM port that you selected in the Bluetooth
