htc p4000 flashing/optimizing

i got a used htc p4000 a week ago, and have been looking for ways to improve it.

htc p4000 - telus - wm6

it seems that right now, even after setting it back to factory defaults, its using 50%+ of its total system memory even when nothing is running.

so im looking for a clean rom i can flash too it, so it will have less pre-installed apps, or other ways of freeing up/improving system ram.

only apps i would be installing to main would be opera, and flash player.

the rest would be installed on my 4gb micro sdhc card.

i could remove office mobile to free up space, but there its not in the uninstaller, wondering what other things i could remove to free up space, unless there is a really small rom that would be quicker/safer.

None that I know of, I was just pointing out that you can use roms that are for other carriers. He states that the alltel rom will work on the telus provider.

ok...heres what i got so far.

i download claunch, and the patch for large touch buttons.

after setting up claunch the way i wanted i notice i gained 7%+ memory. i assume because i turned off every other today screen option free'd up some memory.

last step for me would be remove adobe reader, and the pocket office' how would i do that?
