I setup my XV6800 without letting the customizations run.
I haven't noticed any problems, and it works great. It would be nice to find out what each of the CABs are. XV6800 extended rom: AutoRun.exe Config.txt DefaultRingtone.sa.CAB DefaultRingtone_XBOW.sa.CAB HTC_CM_Guardian.sa.CAB Intellisync_8.0_PPC_Stub_App_VZW.CAB MP_CVSDcpl_20070129.cab MP_Titan_VZW_Shortcode_438749.CAB RadioRefurbish.sa.CAB I uploaded the contents to the FTP: ftp://ftp.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Verizon...xtended%20Rom/

## codes do not work now, I did this as well. I need ##DIAG to work to connect to QPST, and I'm wondering if I simply need to run one of these cabs to allow me to do that, like it did on the 6700. I assume that it's either MP_Titan or RadioRefurbish, because I already know what all of the other cabs do.

The shortcodes app is mostly likely the installer for the missing shortcut codes app.
![]() As for accessing the FTP, it's easiest if you just click QLinks at the top of this page and choose "Open FTP Site".

Is it possible for someone to do a brief description of what each of these cab install?
Joshieca - To answer your earlier post-I never ran the phone with the customizations, so I cant compare. If comparing to the XV6700 using the latess kitchen, I have to say that the 6800 is a winner in performance, as well as being smooth. |

OffUrRcker, I didn't mean to seem patronizing. I was just stating what I thought seemed valid for the issue. I'm glad you figured it out.

I second that. I have been exploring every possible route to remove the "lock" on the extended rom. To me, there is nothing but useless crap in there.
