Need help, new Mogul owner - Programs will not uninstall correctly

I download some cruddy version of AIM that worked but not great well then I found an all-in-1 messenger and didn't need it anymore. So I uninstalled it. Yet the AIM icon (without the graphic) shows up in my programs and on my start menu.

How do I fix this?
