it tells you to spray both sides of the shield as well as your fingers to keep from getting prints on it. I kinda worried about the amount of fluid that you squeegee out but it doesnt seem to bother the phone.

My order was canceled. Here's the e-mail I received:

"Thank you for your recent order from ZAGG Inc, home of the
invisibleSHIELD. We regret to inform you that due to a system error,
your particular order was not processed successfully. We did, however,
receive your PayPal payment.

We realize that you are receiving this email a few days after placing
your order and we wish to apologize for the delay in notifying you. As
soon as we learned of the situation relating to your purchase, we took
immediate action to locate the source of the problem and made the
necessary changes to ensure this does not happen in the future.

Due to the circumstances, unfortunately, we will be issuing you a full
refund and ask that you place a new order at your convenience. Your
refund will be visible in your PayPal account within 3-5 business days.

We wish to apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We
invite you to reorder the products you wish to receive and would like
to extend a 25% discount on your next order. When you place your new
order, please insert the following discount code into the last page of
the shopping cart: XXXXXXXXXXXXX. Please note that this discount code
is exclusive to any other discount codes or promotions from ZAGG Inc, and
is valid for use until February 1 of this year.

Again, we sincerely apologize for this error and delay and wish to thank you for your interest in our products."

This suggests to me a "price mistake." But the current price on the site--1 hour after I received the e-mail message--is still at $9.98. If not a price mistake, curious as to why they could not simply re-process my order in-house. ???

Question How "OFTEN"

does the screen protector have to be replaced?

In other words, does it ever wear out?

This completely depends on how you use it, as well as the type of screen protector you use. I've had a NuShield on a PDA that has lasted years with no scratches. I've got a Boxwave that shows slight wear after several months.
