hey buddy, i re-wrote the app today. give the 2.0 version a try. some other users on the other sites are saying it is now working. altho the old version worked on the mogul.

anyhow this version is better than the other. it doesn't get over written by the carrier now at all when roaming or what not.

this worked for me but having to install it every time i flash was a bit much for me. so i used qpst and hard coded my own operator name into my phone. i find it works alot better

wow, you must hard reset a bunch. lol. and this operator name must be pretty important to you for you to hard code it into the phone.

to each his own though. this app wont be for everyone. i just thought some would like it.

this gave me just a little more respect for the pointui Home utility. the words "Verizon Wireless" are too much text for their title bar to handle. when my phone was locked i couldn't see the time or battery indicator. replaced it with "VZW" and now it looks awesome. great job, awesome program. thanks much.
