forgive me as a newbie - but what exactly is the usage of this program? I have been using my mogul 6800 as a modem for my laptop when I travel through Sprint (Sprint via #777) directly to the laptop using Internet Sharing.
I think I know what a router is as I have one at home with my desktop cabled to it and 2 laptops connected to the internet wirelessly through it. But I'm confused about what WMWIFIRouter does? I loaded to my Mogul but then didn't know what to do - I feel kind of stupid. Thanks. Jack |

Its Yet Another Way to share the connection
using it, your mogul acts as an Ad Hoc wifi access point. This is handy if you want to share the network to more then one client, or to a client without USB or Bluetooth, or with a client that you can't (or don't want to) configure to use either of those other connections. |

WMWifiRouter creates a ad-hoc network connection on your phone. When you look for the available networks on your laptop or what ever else you should see a networkd called WMWifiRouter and you just connect like any other access point. It is ad-hoc though so what ever you are trying to connect must support ad-hoc connections. PSP for instance cannot connect. To answer your question though yes it does broadcast like a router at home.

Wow, you must have gotten a private release of the Rev A update. I'd like to see some screenshots of these speed tests. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but those speeds (especially the upload) are not likely without Rev A.
