I'm also having the same issue. My ActiveSync worked at one point in time, but now no longer connects. I've tried soft-reseting the phone, hard-reseting the phone, reinstalling ActiveSync 4.5 that I downloaded from Microsoft, uninstalling and then installing ActiveSync 4.5, and still no luck. When I plug my phone in I hear the usual beep that indicates a device has been connected, and my phone shows that it is connecting via USB. However, ActiveSync doesn't come up automatically or when I manually try to open it from the Start menu.
