I thought picsel was god until I used the new Opera mini 4 beta.. Personally I'd never use Opera mobile now that I used mini 4.

Aside from the fact you have to go through stuff in java then get it running, mini 4 is the best browser Ive ever used. To me it's far better than safari on my old iphone, and faster than picsel.

Only complaint is because of the beta nature, it's still not the most stable program. I've had it die horrible deaths on a couple websites I frequent, but for the majority of the time it's been amazing.

It displays full web pages very quickly and true to original form just like picsel. But I love the way it's tap and back features work. Very quick, easy to use compared to Picsel (to me). It also seems to format words and paragraphs in such a way that when you take the paragraph it displays it perfectly to screen and easy to read. It just seems like the developers looked at the piscel browser, and decided to improve upon some areas that suit me more. It might not be like that for everyone, some people are in love with picsel browser.

But everyone I know personally, that has used mini 4 say it's the best mobile browser they have ever used.

It's also free. And though it's in beta, is already fairly stable and reliable.

Just download it and try it. If you don't like it delete it.

If you can stomach the $50 annual fee for use, Thunderhawk is a decent alternative browser. Pages are viewable in 800/600 pixel size with text readable and that means than most webpages are viewable as if on a low res desktop monitor (no scrolling needed side to side) and no reformatting of content to fit the low res screen.

I've used Jbed before and works good, my only problem with it is there is no "always allow Net Access". When you open Operamini it asks

Do you allow Net access?
Yes, but ask next session? (works until the app is closed)
Yes, but ask next time? ( asks again next time the Net is needed)

And if I go the the main menu of Jbed and select Operamini and go to

Menu-> actions->Security there are two options

Ask
Never Allow

Is there a way to have it never ask and always allow Net Access?

PIE is the most usable browser overall. Opera mini or Opera mobile is next in line. The problem with all mobile browsers is their sometimes crapy job of reformatting pages in "mobile view," browsing of AJAX sites, and the lack of traditional-style plugins like the latest version of flash. They are basically at the level that desktop browsers were in 1995.
