I just got the Jawbone and I love it. I do have the same fit issues, but when my son said I sounded much clearer compared to my other headset (Plantronics 510) I was a believer.

welcome to PPCGeeks :-)

I got my Jawbone for Christmas, after eying it for about 6 mos. I pulled it out of the box, charged, paired it, and put it on one handed-just I have always done with my my old Samsung headset. Fit perfect right out of the box, very stable and sits snuggly against my cheek, just it's supposed to (I didn't even need to try the different hooks or ear pieces). Pleasantly surprised to find that it gets plenty loud for me, almost too loud at the highest setting, and much louder than the Samsung. Noise cancellation works as advertised - awesome. I was cranking some music and the person on the other end had no idea - until I turned the noise cancellation off. Pretty cool.

I have had a Jawbone for a while now and I also use the Jabra ear gels instead of the ear gels that came with the Jawbone. Can wear and have worn the Jawbone all day but I do get a minor irritation in my ear due to the seam that is on the Jabra ear gel but I just take it out for a couple minutes and insert it back in. If you decide to use the Jabra ear gels use the ones shaped like the inside of your ear lobe. I have found they are a real pain in the ass to find but you can get them on ebay and in some radio shack stores.

Well I purchased mine at an AT&T Store and loved it!!! I had only 2 easily solved problems with it. First, the charger that came with it would automatically pop off from the rear charging slot in the headset. A quick email to the customer service team and I got a new charger cable in the mail. Second, the part where you hook the charger would also detach itself from the headset but I simply used a small ammount of gel super glue on both sides and no more detaching problems. After solving that It has been by far the greatest headset I've ever owned. Ear Hooks worked perfectly with me and I carry it all day w/o even noticing. I'm planning to get my gf one too so we can finally talk freely since her motorola headset is so bad in my opinion. Greatly recommend the jawbone because of its quality features although I can't say the same about its construction.

Just Sold Mine

I used it for two months and the fit was just too uncomfortable to deal with. The call quality on the other end was the best of any headset, but I wear mine all day and I couldn't find a way to make it comfortable.

I bought one and used it for about 2 weeks. My clients and friends complained that they heard an echo when THEY were talking. This happened on EVERY call. 2 Friends of mine purchased one as well and when I talked to them, I noticed the echo as well.

Now it sits in a drawer.

I now alternate between the Plantronics Voyager 855 (stereo!) and the Jabra JX-10 Series 2.
