Titan won't sync, what should I do?

Hi everyone. Sweet forums here.

I just got my new Titan (Mogul) last week, and after trying to sync it with my work PC's Outlook contacts it started giving me an error. Now whenever I connect it to my PC or work PC (both WinXP SP2), on my PPC it says "attention required", and when I click that it says:

"Result:
Cannot synchronize with the Outlook profile you are using, because a different profile was previously set up or the profile is password-protected.
Please open Outlook using the appropriate profile.

View support code (opens up to show: 0x8503001F)
..."

This problem is stopping me from doing a number of things I want to do with my new Mogul (flash to a different ROM, get contacts and ringtones and stuff from my PC, etc.) Any help would be grateful.

i recently bought a Dash (HTC Excalibur) for my mom off ebay and it wouldnt sync at all. Windows would recognize the device, but Activesync couldnt connect.

basically, i did a hard reset and it synced like a charm after that. i would save that as last resort.
