Mine started to do that a while back. I tried uninstalling every program, never figured it out. Fortunately it was right before the new ROM came out and a Hard Reset Fixed it.

to backup the contacts, you can use PIM Backup. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299705

I think I know how to fix the problem though...

I know you can change the sound your phone makes when you press the end key. I have a vista sound there...

Try this. I'm not sure that it will fix it, but its worth a try. Go to your windows directory, and delete the file Midi2Wave_079_4098.wav. You may need to unhide the ROM files and use a third party file explorer to delete it. If delete doesnt work, just cut and paste it somewhere else

is their anyway you can kinda give me steps to do that because i have no idea how to do that and id rather not have to backup my phone and all

To do what, the backup or removing the file?

I'll just go with the file:

1. Download Resco File Explorer
2. Rune the program, and navigate to \Windows
3. Locate the file Midi2Wave_079_4098.wav
4. Tap and hold, and press "cut"
5. Navigate to any other folder on the phone, preferably the storage card
6. Tap and hold, and press "paste"
7. Soft reset your phone and press the "end key" once its booted up
