im runnin 2.17 the only rom ive used, it reads and writes to it , but writing is extremly slow....ive formated it both quick and normal in vista, on default fat32 clusters but still no luck...
im hoping ill be able to exchange it....

Well now IVe had the touch pro for about a year and welll its just as dissapointing as the mogul was ....now they may give me this TP2 but i wonder if its time to go a different route than this WM

If you are in the states go to best buy and purchase one. Then try it. If it works then return the one in the packaging back to best buy. Case Solved. =P I am using one from there and have no issues. I see all my memory from my card.

Beware of fake memory cards that affect performance
I just received purchased a SanDisk 4-GB MicroSD (SDHC) memory card. Thus far, I have not encountered any difficulties saving data, e.g., photographs via the camera, to it. Access to the card is reasonably quick via Microsoft Pocket Explorer and Resco Explorer 2007 and I am able to transfer data from/to it via USB at good speed.
One note: I did not use the aforementioned link due to the fact that the Amazon seller, JoWow, ships the card in "bulk packaging." I am not accusing JoWow of being dishonest, but I have witnessed many a seller on eBay peddling imported rip-off and/or refurbished hardware (including memory cards) using "bulk packaging." Of course, the sellers will argue that they use "bulk packaging" to save money on shipping costs. The reality is that they do not possess the OEM packaging because they are selling copy-cat, inferior merchandise. I purchased my card from a different Amazon seller, ChiTek, which includes OEM, retail packaging. (Use the following link to view the card: http://www.amazon.com/Sandisk-MicroS...082982&sr=1-11.) The cost of the card sold by JoWow (bulk packaging) is $37.05; the cost of the card sold by ChiTek (retail packaging) is $43.99. I paid the $7 extra to be certain that my memory card is legitimate. well i went to bestbuy and got another sandisk 4gb card, and still no luck...
it takes way too long to save a 2Mega Pixel pic about a minute...i set it to 1 mega pixel and set it to fine and it saves quicker, sucks though... also the cardexport program for turning ure phone into a mass storage drive has stopped working with this card... i can pop in my 256 meg card and all is well.... what cluster are you guys formating the card with?
