XV6800... Got it!

I've got mine, had it for a few days now and love it, TONS faster! Im coming from an Apache so I've learned to cook a four course meal with my phone and want to customize the crap out of this thing. I've been trolling the net looking for custom roms or anything for it that will work for VZW. I've had some nibbles in my search but haven't caught anything. You guys know of any place to get, well anything at all?

Just look around they are everwhere...for starters try HTC Home Plugin, along with the HTC Home Customizer...i did that along with some themes on my vx6800 and it works beautifully...ive attached some screens so you get an idea of what it looks like..the sky is the limit

Sorry, should have mentioned that I've already got all the software out there, just looking for custom roms or specific tweaks just for the xv6800

Too new right now to have its "own", as far as the xv is concerned anyway.

Verizon has disabled Skype so that it will dial, connect and then the speaker shuts down. In the registry:
Local Machine
Software
Skype
Phone
Audio
there is a "disable" tag.
I am reticent to delete it until I can save the full rom for later use. - I don't know how to do it. Any help???

I wonder if that same registry is on Sprint? The SPeaker is a no go on both the Touch & the Mogul but I thought it was because of something else.
Maybe you should post a new thread on this little discovery, maybe someone will know how to do it?

that registry entry is added by skype itself, not by the phone. most likely skype detects problems using the speaker during installation, and so marks a flag for itself.
